**About us**

True Compassion Care Pty. Ltd is a NDIS Registered Provider operating in Melbourne ( Victoria),Brisbane (Queensland) and Adelaide(SA).Our focus is on assisting our Participants with disabilities to reach their goals by helping them to participate in community activities and to become independent in their home. We are sensitive to cultural and family needs and make every effort to provide comfort, safety, and dignity.

**Tasks and responsibilities**
- Provide quality direct support to participants in line with their support needs, the program they are accessing, and all support plans including the service users Individual Plan.
- Household tasks, and development of their capacities.
- Community support - going for shopping, walks, runs, and other activities with participants.
- Provide transport using personal vehicle
- Create case notes of the shifts to improve our services to participants.

**Skills, Qualifications and Experience**

As an NDIS funded organisation, we will require you to have the following skills and abilities:

- Prior experience supporting clients with disabilities highly desirable
- Relevant nationally recognised qualification highly desirable ( Cert.III Individual Support or above)
- Current Driver’s License and comprehensive car insurance, plus own reliable transport
- Current Working with Children
- Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current First Aid & CPR
- NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Full Australian working rights
- Two current (within the past 2 years) professional references from a supervisor will be required
- Establish professional rapport and collaborate effectively with participants and families to reach their personal and NDIS goals
- Successful experience communicating effectively with people who are non-verbal and/or who demonstrate challenging behaviors;
- Ability to write clear case notes and Incident Reports (English);
- Ability to operate a smart phone and upload travel and shift details (onto an APP);
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Patience and respect for individual client needs.
- Success at dealing with conflict in the workplace.

**Salary**: per hour base rate in accordance with the Legislation

Pay: $30.00 - $47.16 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
