Mobile Dental Services operate state of the art mobile clinics equipped with all that modern dentistry has to offer. We are well established and very well regarded for our commitment to quality dental treatment for the elderly. We are looking to fill a role in our team for a Dental Assistant: we are looking for applicants who are efficient: can listen, respond and compete tasks with responsibility, ownership and the utmost care for their patients.

It is essential that all applicants are:

- fluent in english;
- enthusiastic, and willing to be part of a team;
- dentally trained, with an understanding of dental terminology and ability to chart and understand dentist's chairside notes. in particular with excellent communication skills;
- technically competent including: Clinical assisting, prepare Treatment Room and materials, cleaning Treatment Room and Instruments, maintain Treatment Room stock levels, perform scheduled cleaning, implement Infection Control and Instrument Sterilisation as per ADA Guidelines
- able to work within established internal and external procedures and systems;
- able to show a genuine care for patient welfare (in particular the elderly);
- able to interact with the dental team on a professional level.

The position available is for Tuesday or Thursday's with other days flexible and can become more days with in a short period of time. Being a mobile service this role requires travel - mainly around the Melbourne metro region.

This is a really rewarding role and offers very different competencies to a regular DA position. Our patients require special care, which creates a team that works well together in sometimes difficult circumstance. If you are looking for a change this role may be for you
