**Description**:
Key responsibilities

Reporting to the Production Manager, the role involves specailsed plant producing duties of potting stock, including bare rooted, staking and taping plants plus order collation together with general nursery duties of weeding, watering, plant maintenance.

The position is full time, working a five-day Monday to Friday roster, plus occasional added weekend watering duties.

Plantmark offers a four week induction and training program, with face to face learning and online courses presenting a roadmap for success in the role.

**To be successful as a Plantmark Nursery Hand, you**:

- Enjoy working outdoors, either solo or with the team
- Have strong attention to detail and have great communication skills
- Good work ethic and be a team player
- Can effectively work unsupervised and follow procedures.
- Intermediate computer skills
- Plant knowledge is a bonus
- AgChem and forklift certificate would be an asset

Applicants must also be capable of performing regular heavy lifting tasks and be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Some weekend work will be required on a rotational basis.
