**Description**:
Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the State Operations Manager and leading a team of 6 Dispatch employees, this dynamic role is responsible for the hands-on management of dispatch operations for Plantmark Wantirna.

**The highlights of the position are**:
Managing the complete dispatch function for the worksite including planning, scheduling, and communicating with all internal and external stakeholders regarding the timely and accurate dispatch of stock.
Liaising with suppliers regarding incoming stock deliveries and records management.
Quality assurance on stock maintained onsite and packed for delivery.
Leading and motivating a dedicated Dispatch team by effective training, feedback, task delegation and monitoring performance.
Ensuring dispatch equipment and machinery are utilised and maintained to acceptable standards, including coordinating regular maintenance of all stock handling equipment, forklifts, and electric carts.
Maintaining a well organised and clean dispatch office and champion safety standards within the team.

**Skills and Experiences**:
Essential Experience

**You will bring**:
Demonstrated experience in a dispatch role either as a leading hand, coordinator or manager.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive, collaborative relationships with colleagues.
Strong planning and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple accountabilities through to completion and managing changing priorities.
Intermediate computer skills and confidence in records management.
Experience in managing a team to deliver success.
Forklift certification is essential and previous experience within the horticulture industry would be highly regarded.

Applicants must also be capable of performing regular heavy lifting tasks and be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
