This large scale organisation is looking for an experienced Finance System Lead

**Your new company**

This large scale business is in their search for a capable Finance System Lead to join their team on a 9-month contract. By working with different departments, industry and skills bodies, this organisation aim’s to maximise the social, economic and employment opportunities for regional communities from further development in their sector.

**Your new role**

You’ll be working with the Head of Finance focusing on providing strategic and hands on business partnering support to various department managers.

Due to internal movements, this has created this rare opportunity for a Management Accountant to join this high performing team. On a day-to-day basis you’ll be performing the following functions.
- Work closely with and support the Head of Finance, the Finance System Project Manager, and other stakeholders.
- Identify, capture, and review finance requirements.
- Implementation of the new finance System.
- As part of the finance work stream, look to identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
- Responsible for monitoring risks, actions, issues, dependencies, and decisions for the finance work stream and coordinating work stream resourcing requirements.
- Analyse variances to the plan and budget; providing cause and solutions.
- Project manage and report on work stream activities and outcomes to ensure that overall work stream deliverables remain on-track to scope, quality, schedule and budget
- Contribute to the finance system project team performance and accountability and support team development and growth
- Strong bias to action with the ability to work autonomously in a complex, fast-paced environment to achieve outcomes
- Able to demonstrate the capacity to perform the inherent requirements of the role

**What you'll need to succeed**

CA/CPA qualified, you’ll have cemented your technical knowledge and have proven your skills with relevant practical experience in a similar role. Systems savvy you’ll seek efficiency gains where possible and have excellent system implementation skills. You’ll have well-developed written and verbal communication skills and are able to tailor your style to cater to your audience and enjoy building relationships with internal stakeholders.
