We are recruiting for an experienced Assistant Service Manager for The National Portrait Gallery. This would suit the art lovers who are passionate and experienced in hospitality management.

**The Role**
- Lead a team of waiters, hosts and baristas
- Deliver exceptional customer service to regular patrons and guests
- Ordering and stocktake
- Roster staff and complete time sheet approvals
- Daily troubleshooting
- Develop and train new and existing team members
- Manage and oversee a successful café and a range of functions and events on-site
- 5 days Rotating roster over 7 days

***About You**
- Minimum 1 year in management/ supervisory experience in a busy fast paced venue.
- Strong barista experience
- Friendly personality, with a focus on providing top level customer service
- A passion for the hospitality industry
- Valid RSA and bar/beverage knowledge
- Full Australian work rights
