Enjoy diversity in your role - No one day is ever the same **Job Description**: In this diverse role, you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day. Activities may include: - Case management of a diverse client group, including veterans, injured workers, and early intervention services. Caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to reduce administrative tasks; - Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to assist people fully re-engage with the community; - Complete assessments and interventions using your clinical skills to work within the framework of systems such as DVA and Workers’ Compensation. Part of the global MedHealth network, you will have access to industry leading supports and corporate resources. This is a fantastic opportunity for a social worker to gain more "work life balance" and to share the load with other health professionals. **Qualifications**: - Tertiary qualifications in Social Work; - Registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW); - Previous experience working as a Social Worker would be highly regarded (ie. in a hospital, mental health, aged care facility or people with diverse backgrounds); - Excellent time management skills - be able to work autonomously as well as within a team environment; - A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and the associated health benefits of engaging in the community; - A current driver licence and access to their own vehicle.
