**About the role**:
As the Social Worker you will be responsible for providing clinical social work services to referred surgical and medical patients and families. A regular day will see you work clinically with patients, attend family meetings and non clinical meetings, and undertake other duties that support the social work department and it's operations.

**Key responsibilities will see you**:

- ** provide counselling to patients and families**:

- ** supervise grade 1 social workers**:

- ** supervise and train social work students**:

- ** participate in quality improvement, or research**

**You must have**:

- ** a degree in Social Work and**:

- ** ideally have worked in a health related setting**:
