**About the Opportunity**
The purpose of this role is to ensure content is available across relevant digital and social channels in line with other channels to keep members and the business community engaged with CCIWA’s advocacy efforts, showcase our services and provide insights into the major challenges faced by our members and the broader business community. Success in this role raises awareness and increases connection with CCIWA’s brand and members. It will also generate greater engagement with our business units.
Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Works with the Manager Content & Marketing in the development and distribution of timely, engaging, proactive brand-aligned content for digital channels, including social media platforms, that is aligned to CCIWA’s strategic goals.
- Work with Manager Content & Marketing to roll out new content ideas for web (YouTube), socials (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook Live), update and create new website copy with Policy, Commercial Business Units and Digtial & Technology team and write content for Business Toolbox and Business Pulse.
- Support campaign specialists in creating campaign content for marketing activity to
complement work in planning and executing marketing plans.
- Responsible for producing content for key digital transformation projects.
- Working in conjunction with the Manager Content & Marketing to identify and activate new ways of delivering content in particularly across digital and social channels to reach a wider audience, maximise coverage and drive member engagement and acquisition.
- Works closely with the Policy team, Principal Adviser Media and Government Relations and the CEO to deliver digital and social content that supports CCIWA’s advocacy efforts.
- Engages with Member Engagement, Mx & Insights, Policy and Commercial Business Units to identify news and stories for digital and social content creation to build our brand, relationships and revenue.
- Collaborates with Member Engagement and Mx & Insights to ensure content is optimised for search engines, social media and member experience.
- Supports the development of content creation and curation strategies to connect with influencers, grow followers and digital platform(s) traffic.
- Working with the Manager Content & Marketing to build and manage a calendar for content intended to meet member needs and CCIWA’s strategic goals.
- Works effectively and participates with the team to promote curiosity, innovation, strategy development and problem-solving to impact change.
This is a **full-time (1 year) Parental Leave cover**. The position is available for immediate commencement.
This position will be split across two locations operating out of our Osborne Park and CBD office.
**About you**
To be considered for this role you will also possess:
- Bachelor / tertiary degree in a marketing, journalism, communications, media relations or similar, desirable.
- Proof of Working Rights in Australia
- National Police Clearance
