**Clinical Facilitator**

**Expression of Interest - Perioperative Department**

**Up to Full-time hours, 6-month position**

Greenslopes Private Hospital has an opportunity for a positive role model and an experienced clinician to join the Clinical Education Team to support new nurses to the Perioperative clinical environment as part of the Perioperative Transition Program.

In this role your key responsibilities will include facilitating department based training and clinical competency assessments within Theatre as well as providing opportunities and support for the professional development of staff new to the perioperative environment.

**About You**

You will be a positive and supportive clinician with a passion for sharing your knowledge with others and assisting the development of novice nurses in the perioperative environment.

You will also demonstrate the following:

- Registration with AHPRA
- Minimum 3 year’s post graduate experience in PACU, Anaesthetics and/or Scrub Scout nursing
- Clinical Nurse experience is preferable
- Previous experience in an educate role is desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Overall, you will bring exceptional time management skills and have a committed and proactive approach to professional development.
