**About Our Client**:
My client is a reputable, national Architecture and Design firm. With offices across Perth, Sydney, and Melbourne, they are looking to expand their team and thus have created the Finance Officer role. It's an organisation where they do everything together with collaboration being at the centre of what they do.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger accounts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Process and record all financial transactions in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and procedures
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly financial forecasts
- Provide financial analysis and support to management
- Prepare and submit all required financial reports in a timely manner
- Manage cash flow and ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet the organisation's financial obligations
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial statements on a monthly basis
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements for auditors and other external stakeholders
- Perform any other duties as required by management
**The Successful Applicant**:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
