Superannuation Specialist Member Outcomes

APRA is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Superannuation Specialist to join our Member Outcomes Team within the Superannuation Division. The Superannuation Division supervises all APRA-regulated superannuation entities in accordance with their licence obligations by financial and non-financial risk analysis as the primary part of their supervision function. The Member Outcomes Team is the lead team conducting cross-industry projects to support APRA to deliver strategic initiatives to strengthen member outcomes in superannuation
APRA offers unprecedented exposure to the Financial Services industry. You will work amongst a team of highly skilled professionals to positively influence industry best practice and the stability of the Australian financial system.
**About the role**
Working with a dynamic team and in an agile environment, you will be involved in:
- Leading projects (e.g. data-driven thematic supervision work across superannuation trustees) to address current and emerging risks relating to member outcomes and strengthen practices across APRA-regulated superannuation entities;
- Communicating to key stakeholders APRA’s expectations on member outcomes; and
- Providing input into policy initiatives and working with other government agencies on initiatives aimed at improving member outcomes.
**About you**:
To be successful in this role you will have knowledge and understanding of the superannuation industry, including up-to-date, broad knowledge of industry trends and regulatory developments. You will possess strong analytical, assessment and judgement skills to help you identify key risks and recommend options to address prudential risk for the industry.
You will have excellent writing and presentation skills including the ability to produce clear and succinct briefings and documents for management. A strong ability to plan, prioritise, coordinate and deliver projects is highly desirable.
You will have a proactive and flexible mindset, a willingness to offer new ideas and a fresh perspective. You will have a qualification in a finance or related discipline.
