**Overview**

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join our dynamic team in the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network Mental Health unit, based in the Yorke and Mid North region.

As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive and integrated range of evidence-based, recovery-oriented services across the multi-disciplinary team. Under the supervision of clinicians, you will provide non-clinical, integrated psychosocial support services to mental health consumers across community, acute, and rehabilitation settings.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Assisting consumers and service providers in understanding the concept of recovery and rehabilitation, serving as a recovery and wellness/information role model.
- Performing practical, day-to-day tasks supporting the consumer's accomplishment of stated goals within the consumer care plan.
- Promoting a person-centered approach, empowering individuals on their journey towards recovery and wellness.
- Collaborating with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless and coordinated care.
- To thrive in this role, you should possess exceptional interpersonal skills, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting individuals with mental health challenges. Relevant experience or qualifications in mental health, community services, or related fields would be highly advantageous.
