The Health Support Services Department is currently seeking experienced Patient Services Assistants to join our team at Western Health. The permanent PSA positions are based at Footscray Hospital however applicants must be available to work across all Western Health Sites and be able to work all shifts which include morning, afternoon, night and weekends as requested.

Applicants with a Cert III in Health Services Assistance together with experience working in a busy hospital environment will be highly regarded. The successful applicants will be highly motivated and dedicated to providing a high standard of patient services, cleaning, attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a team environment with mínimal supervision.

To be Successful in this Role you will need:

- A high level of physical fitness
- High standards and excellent attention to detail in all aspects of cleaning
- Experience in a hospital environment or large industry.
- Ability to work as a team member in a multidisciplinary environment
- Ability to work in a self-directed manner and prioritise workload
- Adopt a customer service approach in dealing with staff, patients and visitors
- Courteous, honest and professional manner
- Able to read and write English
- Demonstrated skills in communicating effectively with people
- Strong personal work ethic, initiative and service orientation
