**About the Role**

Ramsay Health Care is seeking a WHS Coordinator to effectively support the National Safety Team and National Safety Manager in the management of the company safety management system (RamAusSMS) and the promotion of work health and safety across the three facilities.

This position will be permanent full-time, reporting directly to the NSW Safety Manager.

**Your Skills and Experience**
- Tertiary qualifications in WH&S
- Experience in Work Health and Safety and demonstrated knowledge in relevant WHS legislation
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective skills in planning, time management, problem solving and decision making
- Commitment to the achievement of excellent outcomes, with a strong sense of accountability and customer service

**Desirable Skills and Experience**
- Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment
- Experience within the health industry or a large organisation

**Remuneration**

A base annual salary of $100k - $110k + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

The Hospitals are owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, a global operator of private hospitals and primary care clinics with 74 Australian sites employing over 30,000 people.

Wollongong Private Hospital is a 151-bed hospital with state-of-the-art facilities including an intensive care unit, nine operating theatres, a cardiac catheter laboratory and a day oncology unit.

Fig Tree Private Hospital is a 68-bed facility that offers a range of inpatient rehabilitation programs, early parenting centre facility, allied health therapies, medical services and sleep studies.

Ramsay Clinic Thirroul is a 43-bed facility and is Australia’s first women’s only, stand-alone trauma-informed mental health facility, providing both inpatient care and day programs.

**Requirements**:

- _Must provide a _**National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
