**In terms of more specific responsibilities, you will**:
- Expedite Ground Support Equipment around the site to support the maintenance of Aircraft
- Maintain the site Tool Store and tool control system, including the maintenance and repair of Composite Tool Kits and Aircraft Tooling
- Raise and Close Work Orders related to Ground Support Equipment maintenance and servicing in Ultramain or Autonomous Logistic Information System
- Distribute equipment to support agencies as required
- Support Ground Support Equipment Technicians with the management and distribution of calibrated equipment
- Assist with day to day housekeeping of the site
**As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you will have**:
- Experience working safely in an aviation environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
- Well-developed self-management skills and demonstrated ability to work under his/her own initiative to deliver outputs to time, quality and cost
- Intermediate MS Office skills and ability to learn new data systems. (i.e. Ultramain, ALIS)
- Trade qualifications would be advantageous
- Forklift License would be desirable
- Record keeping and inventory management experience would be desirable
- Basic knowledge of Aircraft General Servicing Equipment (GSE) and calibrated tooling would be desirable
A Defence security clearance is required for this role. Applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
