**Your new role**
The primary purpose of this role is to provide non-standard (negotiated) Term Deposit pricing to Banker’s across NAB’s network over phone Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide negotiated term deposit pricing to NAB bankers over the phone by reference to market levels and the current competitive position.
- Provide professional and ethical behaviour in your actions by ensuring compliance with external legislation, bank standards and internal operating policies and procedures relevant to the position
- Ensure all personal training records are maintained and kept up to date
- Understand product economics.
- Monitor NABs performance in relevant markets, analyse competitors’ movements and market trends
- Assist in achieving profit growth targets for financial year for this product group and other targets such as needs met

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Exceptional negotiation & customer management skills
- Strong numerical and analytical reasoning skills
- Sound knowledge of Term Deposit products and processes
- Understanding of the processes and various product distribution channels within the Australian Region
- Confidence to deal with internal and external customers
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and cope with very high call volumes with a high level of accuracy
- Understanding of Financial Markets
- Ability to manage the competing interests of customers, branches and Consumer Deposits
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers over the phone
- Ability to quickly understand stakeholders’ key drivers
- Computer skills -e.g. Excel
- Numerical and analytical reasoning
- Time management
- Attention to detail
- Able to express views clearly and concisely whilst considering the audience to which views are given in deciding how to communicate
- Building rapport quickly and coping with questions and answers appropriately.
- Providing clear and concise information
