**About the Role**

This role manages the Standard Costing process, analyzes product costs, and provides recommendations to maximize profit. You will prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance commentary, support reporting automation, and assist with cost analysis and corporate planning cycles. This role is crucial in improving margin management, streamlining processes, and enhancing overall financial performance.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Execute and manage the end-to-end Standard Costing process in Australia and potentially New Zealand.
- Analyze product costs, including impacts of sourcing initiatives and Product Price Variance (PPV), and make profit-maximizing recommendations.
- Analyze costing related to VA (Value Add) activities and recommend process improvements to enhance profit.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and actuals, including variance commentary for support office costs (Commercial, People, IT, etc.).
- Recommend actionable insights for PPV and standard costing processes to improve margin management and business processes.
- Support Management Pack presentation and automate reporting to reduce manual effort.
- Assist the FBP team with various cost analyses.
- Manage and consolidate monthly forecasts, budgets, and corporate planning cycles.
- Provide variance commentary and support for support office costs.
- Offer recommendations to simplify processes and improve profitability.

**What we’re looking for**
- 5+ years in a similar role
- Tertiary qualification in accounting or similar preferred
- Prior experience with Reporting systems eg TM1, Hyperion
- CPA/CA preferred
- Strong process improvement mindset
- Strong excels skills, data migration and reporting
