Material Solutions Transport Supervisor

**Your New Opportunity**:
We have an exciting and new opportunity available for a motivated and personable **Transport Supervisor** to join the ResourceCo Material Solutions VIC at Langwarrin. Reporting to the Operations Manager and working alongside the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be the key contact for drivers on a day-to-day basis.

**Responsibilities will include but not limited to**:

- Continual improvement in fleet and process performance, to achieve best practice in the areas of safety, environment, quality, housekeeping, efficiency, and utilization;
- Fleet availability, scheduling support and company driver performance.
- Provide guidance and direction to the broader transport team with regards to vehicle maintenance, repairs and housekeeping activities;
- Manage all repairs and maintenance requirements in line with NHVIS standards with a view to ensuring safe operating condition of all vehicles while minimizing down time to operations;
- Manage all suppliers responsible for repairs and maintenance ensuring they meet the highest quality standards;
- Ensure that regular inspections/audits of equipment are carried out on a daily and weekly basis;
- Develop forward maintenance planning (3 month / 12 month). Evaluate current practices and develop and improve where necessary;
- Manage spare parts inventory, to ensure appropriate spares are available, with critical spares being regularly reviewed;
- Assist in the preparation of annual Budgets for Transport division; and
- All records to be maintained in line with NHVIS maintenance standards.

**About you**:
Your excellent and positive customer service skills both face to face and over the phone, together with strong communication and organisational skills will see you succeed in this role. Additionally, your ability to lead, especially in a busy working environment will add further to your success.
- Front line Supervisor/ Management experience
- Mechanically minded and a great understanding of how trucks operate;
- Strong working experience in a fleet/maintenance supervision role in manufacturing or mineral processing environment;
- HR Driver’s License is essential;
- Very good understanding and experience in the implementation and upkeep of Teletrack Navman and maintenance package Gearbox;
- Intermediate level computer (MS Office) skill
