**Operations Manager - Fire Protection Services**
**An opportunity for an experienced account manager in the Fire Service Industry to move into operations where you can learn how to lead through quality Operations Management of our Thebarton branch in South Australia.**
Located in Thebarton, the successful applicant will have a strong background in account management who is looking to step into an Operations role. You will bring your knowledge in preventative maintenance, inspection and testing, reactive maintenance, repairs, estimations, and minor works. You will also have an understanding of Australian Standards, especially AS1851.
**About Us**
**What You Will Be Doing**
- Using your understanding of Ministerial Building Standard (specifically experienced in governing compliance to ESP maintenance and Form 3 reporting):
- Identification of Form 3 requirements.
- Tracking the generation, completion, review, and submission of Form 3's.
- Developing cost effective systems to support the process:
- Reporting internal and external.
- Tracking the status of outstanding defects and non-conformances.
- Establishing a method of formal reporting to each client through an established template, to ensure the risk of non-compliance is passed through to the building owner.
- Identifying and reporting activity failures to clients.
- Providing resolutions through estimations and quotations to the client.
- Coordinating rectification works of defects and quoted works.

**What You Need**
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the fire industry.
- 3 years' experience in an Account Management role with a desire to move into an Operations role.
- Broad knowledge of Preventative maintenance, Inspection and Testing or the ability to interpret the Australian standards to provide support for the technicians and client queries.
**Your Qualifications**
- Trade background in fire industry preferred (either Cert III Testing, Electrician or Sprinkler Fitter).
- Experience and ability to interpret relevant legislation and policies.
- Experience in a regulation and compliance environment.
- Experience within customer service in a team environment (mandatory).
- Familiarity with and a history of successfully meeting KPI targets.
- Technical aptitude to pick up the role quickly.
