Our Finance team are a vital partner in every aspect of our business, providing commercial insights to drive our success and influence everything we do. With presence in every department, we analyse performance, and deliver actionable insights that shape our strategic decisions.

**About the Role**:
We have an opportunity available for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our Liquor Finance team. This role will see you partnering with our Business Category Managers (BCM) to drive business performance across sales, Buying Margin, and Trading Margin, as well as supporting decision making and establishment of financially robust business plans.

You will also;
- Influence business decision making with fact based insightful and innovative analysis
- Ensure plans are in place to deliver the strategic objectives of the Business Unit
- Liaise and work with our Wine Manufacturing Program team to provide insight, advice and understanding of impacts to P&L from the program
- Identify and define process and/or system improvements to enhance ability to deliver on objectives
- Drive insight and ROI analysis for transformational projects and business cases
- Track key initiatives and promotions to ensure they are on target to delivered expected outcome
- Develop initiatives to improve profit and customer outcomes
- Drive the monthly forecast process ensuring all risk and opportunities are understood and communicated
- Set effective budgets and forecasts and carry out effective monthly review of results

***About you and your skills**:
We’re looking for a strong financial business partnering background, ideally in the retail or FMCG space. You’ll have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to educate financial and non-financial stakeholders, as well as be comfortable challenging and influencing key stakeholders and working cross-functionally to deliver what’s required.

You will also ideally have;
- CA/CPA or similar business qualification, or near with commercial awareness and business focus
- Financial experience in a retail/FMCG/complex environment desirable
- Direct partnering experience
- Budgeting and forecasting experience
- Excellent data manipulation and analytical skills
- Strong Excel, PowerBI, financial modelling, and PowerPoint skills
