Coles Financial Services manage supports and provides card acceptance for all of our store, online and third-party transactions - equating to over 1 billion transactions
We have a great opportunity for an experienced **Finance Business Partner** to join our team on a permanent basis.

**About the Role**:
You will be responsible for partnering with a wide range of stakeholders both across Coles Group and third party providers. Using a combination of your finance and analytical experience to gain detailed commercial understanding of the Coles Financial Services Business units. You will play a key role in negotiations with payment schemes and using commercial analysis to drive cost savings. You will also:

- Provide fact based insight and commentary on monthly financial performance and assist business leaders in meeting their set budgets and targets
- Lead business leaders through forecasting & planning cycles
- Influence business leader decision making with fact based insightful and innovative analysis
- Provide financial leadership on strategic projects & business cases for any new business initiatives
- Interaction/relationships with external payment schemes (eftpos/Mastercard/Visa) in provision of information, analysis, reports and negotiations in strategic partnership agreements

**About You and Your Skills**:
We are looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner who has proven experience in harnessing commercial relationships to partner effectively with the business. Ideally you will also have a background in payments and have experience working with third party payment providers. You will also need:

- CA/CPA (or similar) qualified
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high pressure and challenging environment
- Advanced analytical and problem solving skills - simplification of complex financial information for financial and non-financial stakeholders
- Strong communication & presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite, including advanced Excel skills
- Experience working with SAP and TM1 preferable
