We are looking for a Test Automation Specialist/Lead for one of our clients in Melbourne/Sydney, Australia.

**Short Description**:
If your passion is to work as a Test Automation Specialist/Lead, working with Selenium with Ruby / JAVA, CI/CD tool Jenkins, and JIRA. Then this role is for you.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Lead the implementation of theautomation test approach
- Work directly with the test manager to further develop ongoing automation test strategy and evaluate test tools, etc
- Work directly with onshore and offshore resources (as required) to build and expand automated integration test suites.
- Ongoing maintenance of existing automated test capability
- Maintain and expand test reporting capability from automated test suites
- Participate and contribute during solution design workshops
- Lead and mentor other resources as required.
- Raise and track defects through the resolution process
- Ability to backfill test manager when required

**Knowledge/Tools**:

- Experience with test automation in a CI/CD environment
- Experience testing RESTful APIs
- Experience with GUI Automation
- Experience with Robot Frameworks
- Java development experience
- Proficient in using Bamboo, Bitbucket, Gitlab, Postman, Newman, Cypress, and Cucumber.
- Agile ways of working and tools/practices (including Jira, Confluence)

**would be nice**:

- Test lead experience preferred
- Experience working in a telco environment - especially IP Telephony platforms.
