The Housing Industry Association is Australia’s peak residential building industry body. Our primary role is to represent and advance the interests of our members. We are currently seeking to employ an Events and Partnership Manager to join our team based in Macquarie Park.

As the Events and Partnership Manager, your primary role will be to coordinate and promote HIA’s event programs in NSW, secure event partnership revenue and manage partner relationships, develop budgets, and takes responsibility for meeting events and partnership target and focus on the delivery of quality events for members.

**Key responsibilities include**:
- Manage, promote, and ensure the profitability of HIA’s Event Program in NSW and in line with budgetary targets
- Support and provide guidance to the NSW Event Coordinator
- Manage the relationship with existing partners of HIA to ensure their continued partnering of HIA Events
- Secure new partnership revenue to ensure a continued profitable events program and partnership revenue pipeline
- Identify opportunities for improvement and growth and facilitate these initiatives
- Assist development of a communications strategy with national marketing and communications team to ensure effective promotion of HIA NSW events
- Manage, promote, and deliver HIA’s Housing Awards and Apprenticeship Awards in NSW, including the coordination of entries, judging and event management
- Deliver HIA NSW events as required
- Development of annual partnership and events budgets
- Provide ongoing financial management including maintaining accurate and reliable accounts receivable and payable details to enable monthly reporting

- Ability to deal with partners at a senior level and ensure delivery of partnership commitments
- Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills and ability to deliver results
- Excellent attention to detail
