Job SummaryEHS Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with local environmental, health, and safety regulations (as well as corporate requirements), safeguarding employees and contractors safety, minimizing the environmental footprint of the company, and managing risks at the site.

How you will contribute and lead

Corporate EHS policy and Requirements (15%)
- Work with managers to make sure all Global EHS Policies and requirements are implemented in the plant.
- Work closely with EHS cluster leader and BU EHS leaders for the specific tasks and requirements to be done in plant.

Lead to run an effective EHS System in the plant (70%)
- Ensure the compliance of EHS regulation of the country.
- Continuously foster the safety culture through mutual cooperation and corresponding events or activities in plant(top down and bottom up)
- Provide continuous safety guidance and communication opportunities to the new employees.
- Maintain the EHS system(ISO14K, ISO45K, MOC etc) and steer the system to be run effectively and efficiently in plant.
- Lead to implement 6S.
- Drive to pursue Continuous Improvement in all areas of EHS.
- Develop and mentor Safety Reps to manage their areas properly.

Sustainability (5%)
- Monitor and analyze the Energy consumption and waste generation.
- Educate the team through training and events.
- Pursue the continuous improvement on sustainability.

Others (10%)
- Liaise and coordinate with relevant regulatory bodies (such as MOM, NEA, FSB, SCDF)
- Perform ad-hoc tasks from Corporate or Plant Managers.

What you will need to be successful
- Degree or equivalent experiences in Chemical Engineering or Environment, Occupational Health & Safety Management.
- WSQ Specialist Diploma in workplace safety and health or equivalent.
- Registered ‘WSHO’ (Workplace Safety and health officer) with ‘MOM’ (Ministry of manpower).
- Registered ‘FSM’ (Fire Safety Manager) with ‘SCDF’ (Singapore Civil Defense Force).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in EHS programs delivery and integrated management system.
- Certificate in ISO14K and 45K internal auditor.
- Certificate in ‘PSM’ (Process Safety Management) related training.
- Proactive, analytical skills and meticulous in problem solving.
- Ability to communicate and work closely with key stakeholders in driving EHS programs.
- Sound working knowledge relating to local EHS legislations and in an industrial/manufacturing environment
