Join a family-owned, international Equipment Hire business in a sole charge opportunity of **Yard Manager** servicing their clients in the construction industry. Your industry experience and ability to manage both the hands-on and operational tasks will see you the key leader for their Melbourne site. This is a diverse role, managing the end to end operations with regular engagement with key customers and freight forwarders.

**Reporting to the Operations Manager you will**:

- Coordiante daily operations and inventory control
- Pick and packing orders, unloading containers using forklift
- Coordinating, scheduling and tracking deliveries with Freight Forwarders and Drivers
- Generating quotes and orders for customers using inhouse CRM

**Benefits & Perks**
- Competitive annual salary of $85,000 - $100,000 pa + super + mobile phone
- Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm hours
- Parking on site
- Ability to self-manage and take ownership of the role with full support of management

**About You**
- Current forklift licence
- Previous experience as a Yard Manager or similar
- Construction, Building Products or similar industry experience would be advantagous
- Reliable, punctual and self-motivated
- Strong communication skills
