Khokolat Bar is venue in the heart of Melbourne CBD, and we are looking for a full-time Venue Manager to join our team.

This position offers variety, challenge, and the opportunity to play a key role in efficient day-to-day operations of our bar / nightclub. You will be in charge of the seamless running of the venue and its ongoing success.

- Ensures all financial and non-financial KPIs are adhered to and considered in all decisions regarding management of the venue
- Has excellent operational knowledge with a full understanding of current RSA legislation and Liquor Licence Venue compliance and HACCP principles
- Ensuring responsible service of alcohol, fire safety, hygiene and OH&S requirements are met
- Has experience with functions - from sales through to the execution of events
- Available to work mixed days and night shifts (Every Friday & Saturday Night & Public Holiday Eves are a MUST)
- Is flexible, reliable and responsive to a range of work situations

**The Role**:

- Supervising of all shifts
- Recruiting, training, supervision and management of staff
- Handle all customer enquiries in an appropriate and professional manner
- Operational opening & closing duties
- Stock rotation & control
- Bartending
- Supplier and contractor liaison
- Admin as required
