Client Care Representative

**Looking for a brilliant Client Care Representative to join our team for (at least) a 6-month Maternity Leave contract**

**Albany Creek, Brisbane, QLD**

We are a privately-owned 21-year-old veterinary practice with a young, knowledgeable team of legends, and established clientele. We are looking for an experienced Client Care Representative to dazzle our clients with warm and prompt service. The role is full-time and will include either open or close shifts (outside of school hours), with the occasional 5-hour shift on a Saturday morning. Initially this is a 6-month Maternity Leave contract, however there is likely to be an opportunity to stay on in the role after this.

Our dedicated Client Care Representatives are the first and last faces our clients see during their visits, which can range from excitingly introducing new puppies and kittens to the world, to the grief of older pets crossing the rainbow bridge. Your day will be varied, as together we deal with whatever comes through the door.

**About you**:

- Reliable and compassionate, with a positive, non-judgemental, friendly and professional attitude.
- Minimum of 5-years dedicated administration experience, including EFTPOS and cash handling.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with excellent typing and grammatical accuracy.
- A sense of humour (preferably dark humour) and the ability to enjoy a laugh, sometimes at ourselves.
- Takes attention to detail seriously and self-motivated to perform duties regardless of what’s going on around you.
- Can flawlessly multitask across phone calls, in-person greetings, and managing a busy schedule.
- Committed to confidentiality and is respectful of owners and colleagues in difficult circumstances
- Impeccable self-presentation with clear and confident verbal communication skills.
- A willingness and readiness to continue to learn new processes and products, as well as deal with the stinky and gross things that happen in a vet clinic.

Pay: $30.60 - $33.50 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
