**About the Role**
In the role of Manager, Eureka Prizes, you will lead the development, delivery, monitoring, and evaluation of the Australian Museum Eureka Prizes - Australia's premier science awards, established in 1990. You will be working as part of a dynamic two-person team, with the support of many other areas of the Australian Museum. You will oversee the successful execution of this prestigious annual program, aimed at recognising and rewarding excellence in Australian science.
Sitting inside the Australian Museum’s Marketing, Communications, Partnerships and Commerical team, no two days will be the same. Your day-to-day activities include securing new sponsors, maintaining relationships with current sponsors, creating and executing marketing strategies to attract quality entries, managing the entry and judging system, coordinating the judging process, leading publicity for finalists and winners, and organising a successful black-tie event to celebrate the winners.
We are seeking an experienced project manager with a proven track record of developing, managing, and executing major projects within academic, cultural or scientific institutions, the creative industries, or the arts sector, with an eye for innovation and flair. You have a strong ability to attract and cultivate sponsorships and partnerships, along with demonstrated expertise in strategic campaign and event planning—from ideation to successful execution.
It’s an exciting role which will have you collaborating with colleagues from across the Australian Museum as well as leading scientists and science communicators from across the nation.

- Role Description
You will be paid a competitive annual salary $113,574 - $125,720, plus employer's contribution to superannuation (currently 12%) and annual leave loading.

You will have:
- Experience working in roles with wide and varied responsibilities, excellent time management
- Experience building and maintaining positive working relationships with sponsors and other financial supporters as well as various stakeholders including VIPs
- Management experience in project and event management/delivery
