This company is very marketing focused; hence product managers are key drivers of business strategy. **Your responsibilities** - Taking products from concept to launch - Portfolio profitability, pricing and margin management - Sales forecasting and analysis - Market research and monitoring seasonal fashions and industry trends - Work closely with production and R&D teams on new product development initiatives - Management of quality control and problem solving product issues - Business case development for NPD projects and portfolios strategy - Liaise with the communications team for market messages, product launches and brand activity **What you bring to the table** - Appropriate marketing or engineering tertiary qualifications - Relevant experience with some exposure to product management; as an Assistant Product Manager or Marketing Co-ordinator - Strong project management skills - Can do attitude, willing to learn and be proactive - The ability to understand the technical side of your product. Being mechanically minded is essential.
