Prestons Medical Practice is looking for a Medical Receptionist.

Expected behaviours and Personal attributes: Demonstrate patient-focused approach with genuine empathy and interest in their needs. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding patient and practice information.

Essential: Basic Knowledge of MS Word and Excel. Minimum of one year's experience in a Medical Receptionist role. CPR training.

Desirable: Knowledge of Prac Soft and Medical Director Software and medical equipment. Triage training and/or experience. Training and/or experience in a management of emergencies, handling complaints, Medicare and health funds, basic infection control, safe handling and disposal of medical waste, etc.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Temp to perm

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- On call
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- Medical receptionist: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
