Using industry-leading technology, and backed by private equity, they are on a strong growth trajectory and now seeking an experienced Credit Controller to take the lead in developing and managing the business’ collections process.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for running the day-to-day management of debtor accounts and handling debt recovery and account reconciliation. With stakeholder management at the forefront of what you do, you will play a key role negotiating with clients, brokers and credit insurers, following up on payment arrangements and liaising with a broad range of internal staff in the business. You will undertake regular monthly reporting, provide written commentary regarding the business’ current collections position, and communicate key findings to the senior executive group. Identifying key metrics to effectively measure and manage the collections process, you will implement process improvements to ensure best practice is achieved and minimise collection risk. You will have the opportunity to establish a high-functioning collections team, and future possibility to then become involved in the credit and risk assessment processes and procedures of the business.

As an experienced finance professional in the collections space, you will hit the ground running with your expertise in collections, arrears management and debt recovery. With experience working in the insurance, banking or financial services industry, you will have previous success in implementing process improvements and setting up policies and procedures. A self-starter with the capability of working in a complex and fast paced environment, you will have strong relationship management skills with the confidence to influence, negotiate and have robust conversations with a range of stakeholders. Previous experience in people management and the ability to build and lead a team will be highly advantageous.
