**About Gold Coast Light Rail Stage 3**:
Gold Coast Light Rail has transformed public transport on the Gold Coast, helping create an integrated network that connects more people to more places in one of Australia's most dynamic and fastest growing cities.
John Holland is GoldlinQ's nominated design and construction contractor for GCLR3, to extend the existing light rail network by 6.7kms from Broadbeach to Burleigh Heads, including eight new light rail stations, two new light rail-bus connections, and intersection upgrades along the alignment.

Jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland governments, and the City of Gold Coast, this city-shaping project will link communities to business centres, shopping, dining, education and medical facilities and cater to the Gold Coast's expected population growth in the coming decades.

As construction of GCLR3 gets under way, John Holland is actively recruiting for talented and driven Contracts Coordinators to join our team and play a key role in the successful delivery of this iconic Gold Coast project.

**About the role**:
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you’ll be helping administer various contracts to enable reporting of both upstream and downstream contracts in a timely manner. You’ll also work to manage third party claims related to the project.

**Responsibilities of the role include**:

- Review both upstream and downstream contracts to streamline reporting requirements
- Develop plans and strategies to enable the tracking of upstream and downstream reporting requirements
- Develop and maintain regular reporting of subcontractors to better understand subcontractor compliance
- Draft letters to ensure subcontractors comply with their contractual obligations
- Report and assess performance of subcontractors
- Assist in managing third party claims related to the project
- Work with subcontractors to help better understand their reporting requirements
- Review, monitor and manage head contract and subcontract reporting requirements
- Support the general procurement function

**To be successful in this key role, you must have**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Procurement, Contract Management of Administration
- A sound understanding of procurement and contracts administration
- Previous experience within Administration/Governance practices and procedures within project delivery
- Experienced in Contracts Administration, Project Engineering or Procurement functions
- Excellent reporting skills
