**Job Description**:
Essential

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide effective and efficient first & second level basic IT support and customer service.
- Liaise with customers to ensure satisfactory resolution to the issue and/or fault.
- Monitor open support requests and provide timely feedback to end users.
- Strong experience with Service now ticketing tool.
- Ensure all reported information is documented and recorded correctly.
- Strong IT Support skills in a Microsoft Environment, specifically across Windows 7/10, Widows server 2008 - 2012R2.
- Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Office 2010 - 2016 and office 365, Backup Servers, VMware, Firewalls and Mobile device support.
- Remote software support and installations as well as testing and configuring new hardware and software.
- Monitoring for server infrastructure and network devices.
- Create, maintain & update system documentation where required.
- Ensure that all incidents and Service Requests are logged into the helpdesk system ensuring all relevant information of the request is logged in the ticket.
- Ensure that incidents and requests are resolved in a timely manner keeping internal and external clients informed.

Minimum Education
- A qualification/certification or current study towards a qualification/certification in a relevant ICT field, preferably at university level.

Minimum Experience
- Minimum 4 year’s professional information technology experience.

Additional Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong quality orientation
- Audio Visual experience would be welcome.
- Azure cloud computing, especially Intune experience will be welcome.
- Collegiate team player with a can do attitude.
- Willingness to learn and absorb technical knowledge
- Knowledge of IP networking, DHCP, DNS and general day to day networking principles
- Ability to think logically, multi
- task and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Keeps abreast of industry trends and best practices and applies them to their work
- Experience with the following is essential: Service Now & Active Directory.
