We have an exciting great new opportunity for a highly motivated and customer focused **Parts Advisor **in Laverton. This role will be predominantly nternally focused as you effectively support our entire service department across all workshops.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

This role will report to our Parts Manager but is also accountable to our Service Supervisor and Coordinators. You will be responsible for providing first class customer service and parts interpretation to all internal customers.

**The main responsibilities of this position will include**:

- Process parts orders and investigate back orders, locate and deliver parts to our service teams, including managing returns processes.
- Elevate parts orders through escalation channels
- Assist quoting teams by compiling parts lists
- Provide an outstanding level of customer service to our service team
- Ensure company accounts receivable policies are adhered to in relation to all parts sales/order transactions
- Support of parts counter needs as required

**ABOUT YOU**

**You will have the following skills, experience & attributes**:

- Experience in a parts, service or workshop environment
- Customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
- Mechanical or trades background in automotive or heavy machinery would be highly regarded
- Exceptional communication skills, have a positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Strong computer skills with experience using multiple databases
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle several tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of Caterpillar products (nice to have but not essential)
