About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Cabinetmaker to join our growing team.

You will be involved in the manufacture and installation of kitchen and bathroom joinery, ensuring precision, safety, and high-quality workmanship across all stages of production.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret joinery drawings and plans by confirming sizes, tolerances and hardware locations so manufacturing and assembly follow the plan accurately.
  • Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely by setting up correctly, making test cuts, using guards and dust extraction, and following safe operating procedures.
  • Cut, edge, assemble and fit cabinets accurately by labelling parts, keeping edges clean, holding square and level, and achieving consistent gaps and reveals.
  • Maintain high workmanship standards and attention to detail by checking measurements, correcting defects promptly and meeting specified finish and quality requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with workshop and site teams by aligning sequencing and handovers, communicating constraints early and coordinating lifting and positioning to meet program and quality targets.
  • Keep the work area clean and organised by storing tools properly, clearing debris promptly and keeping benches and aisles tidy.

Skills & Experience

  • Certificate III in Cabinet Making (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in cabinetmaking or joinery
  • Ability to read and interpret joinery drawings accurately
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with CNC, edgebander, or assembly work will be an advantage
  • Current driver's licence preferred
