As a **Brand Ambassador for LocalPegs**, your primary responsibility will be to promote the LocalPegs app and its benefits to first-year students during **O Week**. You’ll be actively engaging with students, handing out flyers, showcasing the app’s features, and encouraging sign-ups.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Promote LocalPegs**: Actively engage with students during O Week to raise awareness of LocalPegs and its exclusive deals.
- **Encourage App Sign-Ups**: Guide students through the sign-up process and explain how to use the LocalPegs app to access discounts at participating local merchants.
- **Distribute Promotional Materials**: Hand out flyers, vouchers, and other marketing materials in high-traffic areas of the campus.
- **Support on Social Media**: Help create buzz by posting on social media platforms about your experience with LocalPegs and the benefits for students.
- **Be the Face of LocalPegs on Campus**: Represent LocalPegs as a friendly, approachable presence on campus throughout the week.

**Requirements**:

- **Outgoing Personality**: You should be comfortable engaging with a wide range of students, from freshers to upper-years.
- **Strong Communication Skills**: Ability to speak clearly and confidently about LocalPegs and its offerings.
- **Social Media Savvy**: Comfort with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) to promote LocalPegs.
- **Team Player**: Ability to work well with other ambassadors and the marketing team.
- **Dependable and Punctual**: You’ll need to be reliable and present during scheduled shifts.

**Job Type**: Fixed term
Contract length: 2 weeks

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
