**About the Role**
As a **Category Manager - Fresh**, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of convenience. You will be responsible for driving category growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences across our Fresh category. With a focus on innovation and strategic execution, you’ll manage pricing, promotion, range, and space to deliver on our commercial goals.

This role is about agility and adaptability—transforming category strategies, leveraging data to inform decision-making, and working collaboratively with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver measurable results.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Strategic Leadership**: Drive category growth by developing customer-centric ranges and category strategies that meet commercial objectives.
- **Collaboration & Innovation**: Work closely with cross-functional teams to create category blueprints and visual merchandising solutions that boost engagement and sales.
- **Vendor & Partner Relationships**: Build and maintain strong strategic partnerships with key suppliers and trading partners to deliver mutual business success.
- **Data-Driven Decision Making**: Analyse market data, trends, and category performance to identify opportunities that will drive sales, profitability, and market share.
- **Team Leadership**: Lead and mentor 2-3 direct reports, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous development.

**About You**
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a strong commercial mindset and proven experience in category management or buying, ideally within FMCG or convenience retail. You’ll be a natural at driving change and identifying market opportunities that can translate into profitable growth. Your experience should include P&L management, strategic planning, and using data insights to influence decisions. Familiarity with the Fresh food category is a plus, but your ability to adapt and innovate will be key. We are looking for a highly motivated individual looking to grow and enhance their skills within a highly experienced collaborative environment. You could be an experienced category manager or looking for a step up to advance your career within a group of high performing fast moving retailers.
