**_Where you’ll be working_**
The Cancer Institute NSW is the NSW Government’s cancer control agency, established to lessen the impact of cancer across the state.

**_What you’ll be doing_**
As Project Support Officer you will enable work within the Institute’s Clinical Trials Program by support and aspects of projects and initiatives that foster and grow the clinical trials sector, which include building the capacity and capability of the workforce, increasing awareness and access to cancer clinical trials, and the management and reporting of data for cancer clinical trial key performance indicators.

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated skills in supporting project leaders in coordination of aspects of project management, document management and record keeping, and communication to both internal and external stakeholders. Essential to the role will be your ability to engage stakeholders and support multiple projects whilst ensuring that timelines and deliverables are met and work autonomously to resolve issues that arise.

This is a diverse and multi-faceted role which provides you with the opportunity to bring to light the impact of Cancer Institute NSW research funding.

**_Essential requirements_**
- Excellent organisational and time management skills including the ability to prioritise and meet strict deadlines
- Demonstrated understanding of the clinical trials environment
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent experience
- Capacity to work effectively and co-operatively within a team environment and to work autonomously without supervision
- Experience in the advanced use of Microsoft Office
- Experience in improving administration processes would be desirable.
