**The opportunity**

We're seeking Qualified Maintenance Fitter’s with previous experience working in a similar role to join us on a permanent full-time basis as we embark on a significant transformation project for one of our clients. In this role as Maintenance Electrician, you'll play a vital part in ensuring safety and production targets are met while upholding quality standards. This opportunity is based in the Bowen Basin region; Blackwater, QLD.

**Details of the role**
- Performing maintenance on crushers, conveyor systems, vibrating screens, pumps and other Fixed Plant equipment.
- Fault-finding and diagnostics on Fixed Plant Mining equipment
- Performing planned maintenance including breakdown repairs as directed
- Reporting any faulty equipment, incidents and or hazards
- Permanent long-term employment opportunity
- 12-hour workdays
- Above average base pay rates

**Qualifications and Requirement**
- 2 years experience working in a similar role within mining / heavy industry
- Experience working on heavy vehicle equipment
- Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter or equivalent
- Previous experience working in coal (highly advantageous)
- Current Standard 11 certification or willingness to obtain/refresh
- Current Coal Board Medical or willingness to obtain/refresh
- Valid Driver's License
- Full Australian working rights
