**The opportunity**

We are excited to be expanding our Commercial Banking (CB) footprint into Melbourne ’s West. The Western Suburbs are the fastest growing region in Melbourne in terms of population, new infrastructure, commercial and residential development, and new businesses in a range of diversified industries.

The new business centre will allow us to deepen our existing relationships and harness our growth opportunities in the West across the full CB segment.

We are currently finalising plans for the new premises which will be ready later this year. The team will commence in May and temporarily operate out of the CBD office in Docklands until the new premises are operational.

Our Analysts are pivotal in relationship management, working closely with colleagues, senior leadership, and clients providing valuable solutions. The Analyst position provides the opportunity to conduct client and industry research, financial analysis, modelling and risk assessment. We're looking for inquisitive individuals with strong analytical abilities, a customer-centric mindset, and a passion for customer satisfaction.

Y our team will i nclude Relationship Executives, Account Managers & Analysts - all committed to delivering exceptional service and solutions to our clients to achieve long lasting relationships and sustainable business growth.

We aim to be the Main Financial Institution of businesses that turnover $3m-$150m or have commercial lending requirements of $1m-$50m. Delivering on a range of needs and requirements, including transactional banking, commercial lending, working capital finance, asset finance and risk management.

**More**s**pecifically,**y**ou**w**ill**:

- Financial modelling and analysis relating to Business and/or Commercial Banking clients
- Prepare credit submissions for new facilities, and coordination of deal execution through documentation and funding
- Prepare various reporting requirements such as pipeline leads, calls, contacts and revenues versus plan
- Performance monitoring and annual reviews for existing clients, and reporting of client financial and operational performance to Risk Management
- Working closely with Product Specialists to meet client requirement

**We’re**interested in hearing from people who**have**:

- Experience writing and analysing credit transactions, as well as completing annual reviews and reporting, ideally within Business and/or Commercial Banking
- Strong understanding of balance sheets, P&L, structuring of loans, securities and financial products and well-developed financial analysis and modelling skills
- Ability to prepare deal packs, marketing collateral and PowerPoint packs for prospecting and business development activities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Client service experience ideally in a Commercial or Business banking environment
- Ability to quickly grasp complex transactions, and ideally have previous 'new to bank' transactional and credit risk experience
- A tertiary qualification in Business/Finance and/or Commerce would be highly regarded.
