Company Description

Working across two Accor properties, you will be about more than rate and inventory management. You will form part of the Executive Leadership Team reporting to the Hotel General Managers and work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing and Front Office Teams. Our properties have the size and volume for you to create a difference and make an impact. The two hotels have 217 rooms, five conference rooms and three F&B outlets.

**Job Description**:
As our Revenue Manager, you will be tasked with helping Novotel Newcastle & Mercure Canberra evolve with the market and grow profitability.

**What you will be doing**:

- Develop and implement systems, practices and tools to achieve these revenues through balancing demand and maximization techniques.
- Management of Rates and Inventory with the Director of Sales & Marketing.
- Ensure optimal presentation and maximization of business opportunities through brand websites, 3rd party websites and Siteminder.
- Develop the annual sales & distribution plan and financial budget.
- Maximizing revenue to achieve budgeted and forecasted revenue targets.
- Focus on trend recognition, demand anticipation and opportunity analysis.
- Research and analysis of product, price, occupancy, RGI and report actual versus performance from an agreed competitive set using all available tools such as travel click reports, internet, ring rounds and shop calls.

**Qualifications**:
**ALL About You**:

- Strong knowledge of revenue management principles
- Strength in GDS and Opera or Fidelio property management systems
- Confidence in communicating and presenting data
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills to build business relationships (internal & external)
- Previous experience in a hotel environment (desirable)
