**ABOUT THE ROLE**

This is an exciting time for the Big Bash Leagues, we’re on the hunt for a creative Social Media Producer to join the Big Bash content team to power our social media channels through the most exciting period of the year. If you consider yourself an innovative content creator with an obsession for sport, we want to hear from you.

Responsible for the delivery of compelling digital content across Big Bash League social media channels and digital platforms. The Social Media Producer plays a key part in driving interest, deepening engagement, and strengthening the connection between casual viewers and avid fans of Australian cricket’s most entertaining product - the Big Bash Leagues.

Reporting to the Content & Production Lead - Big Bash Leagues, you’ll be responsible for:

- Assisting with daily administration of Big Bash League social media accounts (WBBL & BBL).
- Producing innovative and engaging video content, static graphics, and written copy across Big Bash digital channels and owned platforms to attract and retain fans.
- Executing and delivering commercial content in line with brand objectives, sponsor requirements and platform best practice.
- Working collaboratively with other functions of the business, in particular offering support to the broader social media team on other CA-owned channels.

**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
- **2+ years’ experience working in a digital content and/or communications team.
- Proven experience managing social media accounts and producing digital content in a fast-paced environment, ideally within sport (cricket experience highly regarded).
- Highly proficient using Adobe editing products such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro as well as comfort using Content Management Systems.
- Ability to think quick and interpret key moments as potential content opportunities, capturing high-quality content on the fly.
- Strong awareness of emerging digital platforms and evolving social media trends.
- Excellent written communication skills with outstanding attention to detail and strong multitasking ability.
- Deep understanding of, and genuine passion for cricket.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays, and willingness to travel as required.
