**Job Summary**:

We are looking for motivated individuals who are driven and who can deal with various stakeholders and bring together the best Primary Systems Design outcomes for Powerlink and our customers.

If you have design drafting experience in High Voltage Substations and want to build a career in Primary Systems Substation Electrical design supporting connecting renewable energy projects to the National Electricity Market, then we want to hear from you.

**About the role**:

- You are responsible for Electrical design drafting activities associated with high voltage substations.
- You deliver practical and high quality drawings that comply with appropriate technical principles, standards and construction practices
- You work in collaboration with stakeholders and SMEs to develop optimised substation design and solutions in a timely manner.

**About you**:
In order to succeed in this role, you will have a demonstrated ability to successfully deliver substation electrical design drawings in order to ensure field maintenance, refurbishment and capital work is designed to time, budget and quality requirements for our HV transmission network.

We need someone with the passion and energy to prepare and deliver drawings and design solutions working with various internal and external stakeholders for multiple complex projects.

**Qualifications and experience**:
An Associate Diploma in Engineering (Electrical preferred), supported by experience in High Voltage electrical infrastructure design drafting
