**Job Summary**:
Powerlink Queensland, Queensland’s high voltage transmission network provider, currently has a temporary career opportunity for a Senior Design Drafter to support the design of allocated (high voltage) Transmission Line projects.

If you are a Transmission Lines Design drafter, with experience in the areas of electrical and/or civil/ structural design drafting we need your expertise to provide the following:

- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to fellow Transmission Line Design drafting team members.
- Undertake the lead design role on allocated Transmission line design projects.

**About the role**:
Delivering and supporting the successful design of a number of Powerlink's projects you will manage and ensure that high quality drawings comply with appropriate technical principles, standards and construction practices. Whilst fully considering new and existing technologies in drafting space. This involves all aspects of the project lifecycle including monitoring scope, budget, schedule, quality and procurement.

Critical to your success will be to operate effectively across different functional groups and stakeholders.

**About you**:
You are recognised in the industry as an expert in Transmission line design.

You have an Associate Diploma in Engineering plus relevant significant experience in Transmission Engineering Design Drafting (Electrical and/or Civil/Structural).

You have also demonstrated your ability to communicate and manage time effectively to achieve tight deadlines in a multi-functional project environment.
