As a team member of Trading Services, you will serve as the first point of contact for our clients, providing them with personalized assistance and support.
You will act as the bridge between our clients and the wider business, ensuring that clients are informed about their accounts and that their feedback is effectively communicated to the business. You will provide a level of trust and confidence in our services through your exceptional customer service skills to ensure that our clients have a positive experience with IG.
You will report to a Trading Services Team Leader, who will be your direct supervisor and will provide guidance and support as you familiarize yourself with your new role. Your team leader reports to the head of the Trading Services APAC, who oversees the broader objectives of our team.

What you’ll deliver
- Educate clients on the risks and benefits associated with trading by communicating clearly and effectively.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams such as Dealing, Payment Operations, and Compliance for assistance in servicing client needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams mentioned above to improve process and overall client experience.
- Resolve a range of client disputes varying in levels of complexity, in line with requirements of dispute resolution bodies such as AFCA, by employing problem-solving skills to address and resolve the query.
- Once you pass the trade execution test within your first 12 months, you will help clients execute trades on their account across our OTC and exchange traded products.
Your performance will be measured based on:
- Achievement of productivity and client satisfaction KPIs.
- Adherence to daily schedules.
- Quality of your client interactions.
- Your contribution to the team through sharing ideas, knowledge, and experience.
- Any discretionary work demonstrated through value adding initiatives outside the scope of your usual responsibility.
Who you’ll be
- A university degree-level education in any field.
- Experience in delivering excellent client service.
- Demonstrative interest in financial markets.

Where you’ll work
- As part of our hybrid working environment, you’ll split your time between home and the office but will require on average 2 days a week in the Melbourne office to collaborate with colleagues and the wider teams.
