**About the Positions**

The Associate Lecturer positions are responsible for undertaking teaching, including delivery of lectures, tutorials, seminars, practicals, labs, workshops and/or other teaching activities, as well as assessment marking and student consultation.

We are seeking applicants in one of the following areas**:

- **Communication and Media**with expertise in Digital & Social Media, Media Theory, or Screen Media Production
- **Journalism**with specialisation in Podcasting and added expertise in Communication and Media Theory
- **Creative Writing and English Literatures**with additional expertise in Literary Theory, and the Creative Arts

**About You**

You are an enthusiastic scholar and/or practitioner with appropriate academic qualification/s and expert knowledge in one of the discipline areas described above. You are a strong advocate for student learning in Creative Arts, Media and Communication, and/or Writing and English literature fields at university level. You are a keen contributor to a culture of learning, collaboration, and teamwork.

To be eligible for one of these positions, you must be a UOW student currently enrolled in Higher Degree Research program and successfully passed your Research Proposal Review.
