**Reporting Line**
- Program Manager
- Project Manager
- Project Coordinator / Supervisor

**Primary Function**
To complete electrical works that is in line with the scope of work provided, work health safety provisions and standard of workmanship.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Taking ownership of allocated tasks and duties.
- Capacity to solve an electrical and communications issues on a site.
- Assessing and communicating a clear methodology for work activities.
- Providing clear tasks for each team member on the job by utilising time, skill, and potential effectively.
- Mentoring and coaching apprentices to progress into and experienced technician.
- Managing client concerns and requirements on site.
- Using interpersonal skills to support a positive work culture.
- Assembling a schedule of work and coordinating the team to work within it.
- Clearly communicating progress to the supervisor.
- Clear and accurate completion of worksheets.
- Ability to comprehensively follow the project managers and supervisor’s instructions
- Ability to read design drawings and specifications and follow on a job.
- Maintaining timesheets and tracking hours on the job.
- Planning the job methodology.
- Completing and OH&S Risk Assessment.
- Maintaining a high level of workmanship on the worksite.
- Providing on call service as required.
- Contribute to the effectiveness of the HSEQ systems to ensure compliance, ongoing improvement, and customer focus throughout day-to-day work.
- Providing support and assistance in other facets of organisational operations as required and reasonably directed.
- Responsible for the company’s tools, equipment, and vehicles, by keeping them clean and in good proper working order.
- Conducting all work activities in a safe and efficient manner without putting self or other at risk, ensuring compliance with all safety obligations including licensing, training and the use of plant, tools, and equipment
- Troubleshooting, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment while in the field.

**Essential Criteria**
- Electrical License
- ACMA License with endorsements of Structured and Fiber Optics.
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience within the electrical and communications industry, specifically working within data centers.
- Valid driver’s license (manual license) - **essential**:

- Intermediate computer skills
- Excellent safety awareness.
- Ability to problem solve and complete work within a timely manner.
