**In this 12 months fixed term** role as **Manager, Business Control - GRC System**, you’ll support the design and implementation of ING Australia’s local Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) system. You’ll be working with Business Control Office for Chief Operating Office along with the Risk Excellence team and provide key input into the Bank’s Risk Transformation program; along with stakeholders, to ensure the efficient delivery of future-proof GRC solution underpinning the risk and compliance framework within ING Australia.

**What you’ll do**
- Support the end-to-end cycle of GRC solution implementation through the design, implementation, user acceptance and knowledge transfer delivery phases
- Consult on and provide input to the detailed requirements for GRC capability essential and relevant for Line 1 Risk tasks and prioritisation of those requirements
- Co-ordinate and align on the GRC capability design and feasibility with other Line 1 and Line 2 Risk teams, project team and implementation partner
- Validate the GRC solution capability meets the needs of Line 1 Risk and provide feedback throughout delivery sprints and showcases
- Support the analysis, preparation, validation and quality assurance of risk, controls, issues and other GRC data elements as part of data migration
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure the readiness of GRC solution for transition to business as usual (BAU)
- Support the overall change driven by new GRC implementation by identifying, contributing to and co-ordinating the required people, process and other system changes within the Line 1 Risk remit
- Contribute and co-ordinate the necessary capability uplift and GRC solution changes post BAU transition including training of BCO COO & COO teams on the system
- Deliver other Risk Excellence Program initiatives as required
**What we’re looking for**
- Relevant experience in Line 1 Risk function in banking or financial services, ensuring efficient risk management and controls design working closely with lines of business, business functions and Line 2 risk teams with solid GRC solution capability awareness and understanding
- 10+ years of relevant experience in a Retail Banking environment with sound knowledge of banking products and operation functions & processes
- Someone who has taken part in GRC solution implementation or GRC capability uplift projects (highly advantageous)
- Well-developed analytical and pragmatic approach to problem solving and decision making and ability to work in a high paced environment with sound analytical skills and the ability to make decisions based on data
- Ability to be adaptable to changing needs and priorities as they arise with excellent communication skills, exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to negotiate with all levels of management; make recommendations and implement change
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, diverse team-based environment as well as autonomously
- Exceptional MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint with excellent communication skills both written and oral, work planning and organisational skills - possessing the ability to develop and present
- Advanced stakeholder management and influencing skills across a range of levels of senior management
