**Your new company**
A Leading Australian family-owned company specialising in commercial furniture solutions have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Delivery Services Assistant Manager for their expanding Sunshine Coast office.

**Your new role**
The Delivery Services Assistant Manager is responsible for being second in charge and supporting the operational management of equipment delivery and providing superior customer service to their clients.
- Truck bookings and scheduling.
- Liaise with internal customers such as supply chain, finance, customer service and the sales teams.
- Schedule delivery for goods inwards and outwards.
- Support the Delivery Services Manager with rostering, time sheet, leave management, recruitment, training, and warehouse supervision.
- Champion WH&S systems and compliance.
- Systems implementation and continuous improvement.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Professional logistics, transport, warehousing and/or inventory management
- Excellent knowledge of the road and rail transport industry
- Strong communication skills, and the ability to develop effective relationships with customers, contractors, and colleagues.
- Highly organised and efficient with a great attention to detail and ability to prioritise
- Numerical, financial and computer literacy with Microsoft Office
